Paper format
Submitted papers must follow the IEEE two-column format with single-spaced, ten-point font in the text. The length of submitted papers can be from 6 to 8 pages including figures and references. Papers must be submitted in PDF format.
LaTeX and Microsoft Word templates can be found in the IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings website:
- Authors using Microsoft Word should use the US Letter template and follow the instructions within the template document.
- Authors using LaTex should include the \documentclass[conference]{IEEEtran} option in their latex file and follow the instructions in the IEEEtran_HOWTO (pdf) document.
The papers should provide sufficient background information including adequate references and clearly indicate the original contribution.
Paper submission implies that one of the authors will present the paper at the conference if the paper is accepted.
Instructions for Camera-ready paper submission
Authors of accepted papers should address the issues raised by the reviewers and revise their papers accordingly
IEEE Xplore compatibility
Submitted papers must comply with the IEEE Xplore PDF requirements and must be verified using IEEE PDF eXpress (Conference ID: icdsc09x).
After formatting their papers according to the template, authors may follow the instructions below in order to create PDF files compatible with IEEE Xplore. Alternatively, authors may generate their PDF files using IEEE PDF eXpress directly.
- Microsoft Word users can download the IEEE Acrobat Distiller job options file. Instructions for setting the options in Acrobat Distiller and checking the PDF file properties are available in the IEEE Xplore PDF requirements.
- Latex Users, in your latex file:
- Do not use any template option other than conference
- Do not include any additional package (especially hyperref)
- Use Acrobat Distiller to convert your PDF file into an IEEE Xplore compatible file
Paper submission
After creating a PDF file of your camera-ready submission according to the instructions above, you can submit it following the steps below:
- In the submission website, choose "My Submissions->Paper XX" from the top menu (where XX is your paper number)
- Click on "Submit a new version"
- Choose the PDF file of your camera-ready paper using the "Browse" button
- Click on "Submit a new version" (see snapshot)
IEEE copyright form
For each accepted paper, one author must submit an IEEE electronic copyright form. Please follow this link to sign the electronic copyright form. More information about the IEEE electronic copyright form can be found here.
Note: PhD forum authors must first obtain a paper number from EasyChair. Please create a new submission using the "New Submission" option. After clicking on Submit paper you should see a table summarizing your submission information. In the top of the table, you should see Paper XX, where XX is your paper number. This number should be used to fill out the IEEE copyright form.
