Special Sessions

Special Sessions

The ICDSC Conference offers technical presentations by the world’s leading scientists and engineers on diverse topics related to distributed smart cameras.

Beyond the core emphasis areas of the conference, ICDSC will provide specific special sessions. These special sessions introduce conference attendees to relevant ‘hot’ topics which may not be covered in other sessions, and topics which could generate instructive debate on smart cameras technology and its applications.

Manuscripts may be submitted electronically to the special sessions and should conform to the formatting and electronic submission guidelines of regular ICDSC papers. Papers will undergo the same review process as regular papers. It is the responsibility of the organizers to ensure that their Special Session papers meet ICDSC quality standards.

Target Tracking and Person Re-Identification

This invited session will bring together researchers from two subfields of computer vision that have rapidly seen growing activity in the last few years: Target Tracking and Person Re-Identification. The session aims to explore opportunities for cross-fertilization between these two important subfields by posing particular focus on embedded and distributed solutions. The session also aims to deepen discussions on future directions.

Accepted papers will be published within the ICDSC proceedings and included in the ACM DL. Authors of high quality papers will be invited to extend their work and submit it for a special issue in a JCR-indexed journal.

Submission Instructions

The same submission guidelines adopted for the main paper should be followed by authors.

When creating the submission in CMT, please select the “Special Sessions / Target Tracking and Person Re-Identification” as the subject area of your paper. Paper not included in such a track will be automatically rejected.
