San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest option. Also San Jose International Airport (SJC) and Oakland International Airport (OAK) are alternative options. You could use a shuttle service from one of these airports to your hotel.
www.supershuttle.com, is one of these services, you could find different types of shuttles and rates in this website, also you can reserve your ride in advance with a credit card.

We recommend the following hotels. The first three are located in Palo Alto and the location is very convenient for the Conference. The last two are located in San Jose, the heart of The Silicon Valley and are more affordable, but it will take more time to get to the Conference.
Notice that the hotel fares change daily. We encourage you to book in advance since it is common rooms are sold out in the Silicon Valley.
Plan your trip in advance with Googlemaps selecting if you will use the public transit, rental car or ride a bike from Palo Alto (a common practice for Stanford students).
